Scholarships pave the way to Mizzou as a destination university. MU is the destination for more high school valedictorians, Curators Scholars and Bright Flight Scholars than any other college or university in Missouri.
Scholarships open doors to capable, low-income students, and encourage outstanding students to choose Mizzou over other colleges and universities. Innovative initiatives, such as the Honors College’s Discovery Fellows program, enable undergraduates to work alongside faculty members on research projects. The Summer Scholars program encourages students with financial needs to attend Mizzou.
Scholarship support also motivates students to explore different cultures, either locally through community service projects or globally through study abroad programs.
