Student Affairs

The most important thing we do at Mizzou is to help students get the most out of their college experience.  From where the students live and eat to where they study and play, the Division of Student Affairs works to maintain a positive living/learning environment that will result in healthier, happier students who will graduate determined and able to make a difference in the world around them.

The primary mission of Student Affairs is to bring about student learning and development by involving students in educationally purposeful activities while also meeting students' basic living needs, including food, housing, textbooks and supplies, personal development and entertainment. Our housing, student organizations, leadership opportunities and facilities are all designed and organized to complement and enhance the college experience in and out of the classroom.

The Mizzou Student Experience is enhanced through outstanding programs and services provided by departments within Student Affairs:

It is of key importance that we nurture the whole student in all that we do. Many of our facilities have recently been upgraded to attract students and offer amenities that encourage healthy lifestyle choices. Several others are in need of renovation. Our goal is to continue to improve our facilities and programs to meet the ever-changing needs of our student body.  We believe that the overall success of a student at MU will be based on academic achievement in the classroom and the combined impact of all experiences they have outside of the classroom.

We hope you will consider supporting this important area with an unrestricted gift to Student Affairs, or by designating your gift to one of the many programs that benefit our students.

You can truly impact the lives of so many Mizzou students. We appreciate your generosity.
